Epsom Castle Drive Heritage Landmark Renovation
We are honored to undertake the meticulous restoration of this 1870s Category One heritage landmark, originally the family estate of concrete pioneer Josiah Clifton Firth. Our team is breathing new life into the property's majestic Gothic revival tower and weatherboard manor, carefully preserving its unique character while modernizing it for contemporary living.
The project presents exciting challenges as we convert the seven existing units back into a grand single residence. Special attention is being given to the ornate 15-meter castellated tower, where we're restoring the original concrete detailing while upgrading structural integrity. Throughout the 875 sqm dwelling, we're sensitively integrating modern comforts with preserved period features like intricate woodwork and soaring ceilings.
Our heritage specialists are working closely with historians to ensure all renovations meet strict conservation standards. From the sweeping driveway through the park-like grounds to the tower's panoramic harbor views, every element reflects Firth's original innovative spirit while preparing the property for its next century of use.
