In early 2025, iRelax engaged our firm to reimagine their Newmarket retail space, a prominent corner tenancy at 2 Nuffield Street where Remuera Road meets the mall precinct. Spanning approximately 120 sqm, the showroom’s location—mere steps from Newmarket Train Station—called for a design that both underscored iRelax’s premium positioning and accommodated the high footfall of a busy shopping centre. 

Over a tightly controlled programme, our crews carried out selective strip‑out and structural reinforcement to optimize display zones and customer flow, before installing concealed MEP services within raised flooring and custom bulkheads. Eco‑friendly, low‑VOC wall coatings were applied alongside heavy‑duty PVC flooring selected for its aesthetic appeal and longevity. All joinery elements—from sleek display cabinets to the reception desk—were precision‑fabricated off‑site by our local workshop and assembled on‑site with mitred joints and hidden fixings, delivering clean lines and a cohesive material palette . A multi‑layered lighting design, featuring adjustable track heads, recessed downlights and integrated LED accent strips, was commissioned to sculpt the space and highlight key product areas, with all cabling discreetly routed through underfloor raceways to facilitate future AV and security upgrades . 

Upon completion, the fit‑out passed the client’s final compliance inspections ahead of the grand opening, earning praise from the client for its flawless execution and elevated brand presentation.
